The building enclosure is often the most expensive part of a new building, as well as the most difficult and costly to correct after construction. Distinguish yourself in the commissioning industry with a Building Enclosure Commissioning Certificate from UW–Madison College of Engineering’s Office of Interdisciplinary Professional Programs.

  • Take a three-day course and sit for an examination – it takes just a few days to complete the certificate, so it’s a convenient option for working professionals
  • Earn up to two certificates – the Accredited Building Enclosure Commissioning Process Provider (BECxP) and the Accredited Commissioning Authority + Building Enclosure (CxA+BE) – depending on your specific interests and score on the final exam, both valid for five years
