Admissions requirements

All applicants must:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of business fundamentals, one or more of the following are expected to be completed by the start of the program:
    • Undergraduate degree with business major or minor
    • Completion of Certificate in Business or Summer Certificate in Business Fundamentals at UW–Madison
    • Completion of Certificate in Entrepreneurship at UW–Madison
    • College coursework in microeconomics, accounting, and finance
    • Completion of General Business 310 at UW–Madison. This course is offered every semester and during the summer. Applicants can complete this course online as a special student.
    • Have at least one year of full-time work experience in one of the business disciplines mentioned above
  • Submit GMAT or GRE scores or receive a test waiver
  • Completion of REAL EST 306-The Real Estate Process, or equivalent
