These solutions improve environmental and community health, and facilitate sustainable growth and revitalize urban centers.

With many courses designed in cooperation with industry experts, your in-depth physical science knowledge related to soil and groundwater will be complemented by effective written and oral communication skills, as well as personnel and project management training.

In just one year of study, you will gain the foundational skills and knowledge to affect positive change and begin your rise to project management and business development-level positions within the field of environmental remediation, whether in the U.S. or abroad.

Admissions requirements

All applicants must:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Have a foundation in the basic sciences and completed equivalents to MATH 221, CHEM 103 and CHEM 104.
  • Have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0.
  • Submit GRE scores using code 1846 if GPA is below 3.0.
  • Submit evidence of English language proficiency, if applicable. The required proficiency scores are: TOEFL IBT 92, PBT 580; or IELTS 7.0.

  • Curriculum incorporates hands-on field and industry safety training and experience with sample analysis procedures.
  • In response to industry demands, we prepare program graduates for careers in U.S. and international private consulting firms; industry; and federal, state and municipal government agencies.
